Mr. West has
over thirty years experience in the Architectural, Construction and Real
Estate fields. He has worked as an Architectural Designer, Construction
Estimator and Project Manager, and Real Estate Appraiser. During this
time frame, Mr. West has been involved in the design and construction of
single family, multi-family and light commercial buildings both as a
consultant and under the direction of other companies. He has worked as
a construction estimator and project manager on projects at major
industrial facilities, public facilities and public housing facilities
in Vandalia, Dayton, Kettering, Moraine and Centerville, Ohio.

Project Experience
Dayton Metropolitan Housing Authority-Wilmington Hi Rise,
Dayton, Ohio:
Mr. West was the Construction Coordinator when this four-story
structure received substantial modernization. During the construction phase,
four phases were required to complete the modernization process, and the
building unit count was reduced from 100 units to 65 units. Mr. West was
involved in Phases 2, 3&4. Phase 2 involved the construction of a four story
addition containing two new elevators and dayroom/sitting areas on three
floors. Phase 3, consisted of the conversion of fifty-six efficiency units
into twenty-eight one bedroom units with the installation of a chiller
system for air conditioning.
Phase 4 involved
the balance of the units upgraded to standards established in Phases 2&3.
The project was completed in the summer of 2006.
Dayton
Metropolitan Housing Authority, Dayton, Ohio:
Mr. West was reassigned from the Planning and
Development Department to the Asset Management Department where he
coordinated the specifications for service contracts. He created the scope
of work for fire damaged units and unit turnovers, and estimated rehab costs
for budgeting purposes. Mr. West evaluated floor plans for (7) high
rise buildings; Parkmanor, Westdale, Wentworth, Grand Senior Living,
Parkside, Hallmark-Meridian, Metropolitan and the Wilkinson Hi Rise to
determine the primary and secondary means of egress from each floor. He
prepared the egress maps, coordinated the laminating of the maps by a local
supplier and instructed DMHA maintenance personnel on the proper
installation of the maps. Mr. West completed a market survey of the rental
rates within the DMHA market and this data was used to establish the new rental rates for all DMHA units.
Fryman-Kuck General
Constractors,
Dayton, Ohio:
Mr. West was the Project Manager for Fryman-Kuck during the
construction of the Miamisburg, Ohio, Family Aquatic Center, a five million
dollar project that was completed in nine months. Also, Mr. West was the
Estimator/Project Manager on numerous in-plant projects at Delphi plants in
Vandalia, Kettering and Moraine, Ohio.
Mr. West was the
Project Manager on a cast-in-place concrete dome, salt storage facility, for
the City of Dayton. Mr. West has prepared approximately (250) project costs
estimates over a (5) year period using Quattro Pro and Excel spreadsheet
format.
Design
Consultant,
Englewood, Ohio:
Mr. West has prepared over (175) design projects ranging from room additions
to custom design homes in the past (20) years, with the homes ranging in
price from $175,000 to $650,000.
Price Brothers Company, Dayton, Ohio:
Mr. West coordinated the design efforts of
(6) civil/architectural drafting technicians on preparation of the design
drawings for multiple site concrete pipe production facilities constructed
in Brega and Serrer, Lybia, for the construction of the Great Man-Made River
Project.
