Bryan Choi of Architects Associated, Inc. for Wilson Memorial Hospital. AAI was commissioned to provide design services for the Renovation of the Obstetrics Department. The 5000 SF renovation included Labor, Delivery, Recovery Rooms, Nurses Station, C-Section room and supporting utility room. The design was based upon Wilson Memorial Hospital's goal of providing best care with a home-like environment and appealing atmosphere for women. The facility was designed to have combination Labor, Delivery and Recovery rooms so new mothers can settle into a room and not have to be moved around the hospital during the birthing process. The rooms are set-up with hidden equipment to provide for mother's & Staff safety, convenience and comfort. Cheerful colors add to the atmosphere of family celebration.
