Project Description: Community Based Outpatient Clinic: a full time, ambulatory care facility that is physically separated but administratively attached to the VA Medical Center (parent facility). Located in a highly populated area so that a large concentration of local veterans may obtain primary and secondary health care services. AAI developed the complete plans, specifications, construction cost estimates and provided construction period services. This clinic occupies 7,000 square feet of leased commercial property made up of exam rooms, waiting area, medical clerk area, administrative offices, conference room, communications area, laboratory, pharmacy, medication storage area, restrooms and storage areas. Pre-Design work included a site investigation of the proposed (vacant ) tenant space including an evaluation of existing structural, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and roofing systems and maintenance contracts. |
