Project Description: The new Government Center involved renovation of a 14,300 SF retail shopping center building into the new Municipal Offices for the City of Tipp City. The new facility houses council chambers, city manager's office, finance department, police department and jail. AAI provided space planning, architectural and interior design services to create a more efficient environment for Tipp City. The design also included increasing the feeling of height in the major spaces without costly changes to the building. AAI created a deep coffered ceiling with recessed lighting to increase the perceived height of the space. Skylights were also added to the center of the lobby to further enhance the open feeling. |
