Project Description: AAI completed the Master Plan for the new Springfield Municipal Stadium. The project consisted of on site evaluations of existing facility conditions, and a series of interviews for a variety of input. The issues involved with the planning were creating a baseball facility that respected the rich baseball tradition of a small city and adapting the stadium to meet the needs of multiple users, from Babe Ruth Leagues to NCAA Division III Regional tournaments. The new facility will be a 1,000 seat stadium complete with locker rooms, an indoor batting cage and public meeting facilities. AAI provided the master planning for the stadium, and is currently providing the design and construction documents. |
