Project Description: This facility is designed to care for 110 children. The Ohio Department of Public Safety and Transportation jointly coordinated the design to accommodate their children. The concept was to transform an existing building, originally built as a school for children with special needs, into a playful and inviting child care center. The finish materials were carefully selected to optimize durability, and reduce maintenance costs. AAI also provided flexibility in the design of space to provide areas where storage may be added as required in the future. |
